Tired of feeling like garbage and I think my delicious but fake food eating has been affecting my pp stuff. Years ago found I was allergic to a plethora (not used enough thanks Three Amigos!) of foods. A wheat intolerance in particular, I think has developed into something worse. Now when I eat something loaded with wheat my throat begins to burn and will start to close up, scary stuff!
So the break down of clean eating:
So Week 1 Day1 here we begin!!!
Major name brand brown sugar lists ingredients as brown sugar...wow they think we're dumb. Or maybe it was just me who didn't know it was just sugar and molasses?
HA! So I made my own! I can now save $ by buying sugar in bulk.
A cup of sugar and 1/2 T of molasses to start. Then put it in the mixer on medium speed-set it and forget it!
No really cause it'll take about 20 minutes or more to make. Add more molasses if you want it darker.
Then presto! Brown sugar! It's so fluffy! I added it to my oatmeal and can taste the difference. Won't go back to store bought!
Never fear the sun is here! I didn't think it would work but when she let loose on one of my favorite sleepers I was desperate. Even after it was washed and dried, I put it out flat on the front porch for the day. Amazed when I retreived it early evening to see the stains were gone!

This week will be hopefully black bean bon appetit and not black bean brawl. Not pretty to look at but hopefully she'll like it.
Good gravy-I'm hoping no reaction either. Anyone heard of black bean intolerance or allergy?
Other than bean fart reaction. I really washed and washed and rewashed (nice to have ocd step in and be useful for once).
August 26th: This week made butternut squash puree. Elated
epiphany! (Since "ah ha moment" is taken) Thoroughly cooked veg is much easier to strain then it's al dente counterpart. Previous week when she had the "carrots episode" (will explain later) my ring finger went numb for a week
after trying to mash the cr@p out of obviously under cooked carrots through the strainer!
okay well most of it then. I thought for sure she'd like the butternut squash. Not like the carrot incident but she does give 'gaggy' faces which *tisk tisk* I find absolutely funny! Made a mixed batch of broccoli and yellow squash so maybe I will add to the butternut since she's okay with them. We'll see how that goes.
Not much else today-it's my birthday the nap Gods failed to deliver a 3 hour nap...nooooo she slept two hours in 30 minute intervals! WTF...(why the face???) because I'm so tired I could cry!!! Of all days and it's her worst napping session yet!
Took her and the dog on a walk thinking it'll get her down good for her next nap...nooooo she's been in her crib crying off and on for the last hour. *face palm* oy vey. She beckons.
