Frank Sinatra...I am totally going to go and chill out to that song now! great picks! ;)
Wonderful song choices! Now I'm torn between listening to beach music or crooners.
Thanks! I have my crooner or beach music moods...today a is a warm, bright sunny day so I think we (my daughter and I) will listen to some beach music today.
I was so trying to work Frank in there. I've been kicking myself because I could have done him singing Girl From Ipanema and killed two birds with one stone. But now you got him so we're all good! I love me some Jimi too...so much! Thanks for playing! Part 2 of the 60's is next week!
Or you could've just had them both up for comparison :) Amy Winehouse's version isn't too bad.
Purple Haze!! I've got that slated for next week. Excellent choice. And Frank!! I have his greatest hits and I love him. I'm in Jersey - it's sort of a mandated thing. ;) But seriously, he just evokes this whole wonderful mood. The Who! Great choice. And Ann Margaret - I'm sorry, but every time I think of Ann Margaret, I picture her rolling around in baked beans ala Tommy. (Ties into the Who at least.) I know that's crazy, but that's my brain for ya! ;)
Lol about the Jersey mandate!
Totally Love your List... My wife would have stopped at Frank. Ha!!!
Such good memories... Enjoyed, Slu
Lol I was soooo close to stopping with Frank.
Sunshine of your Love... (I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to learn the lead to that song!) To think, had I applied myself to my studies I could have.... nah! I still have gotten more from life (since that time) as a result of being able to play that song, as opposed to diagraming a sentence or understand the Pythagorean Theorem. lol
good play list
lol yeah a^2 + b^2 = c^2 doesn't elicit excitement the way music does!
My 9-year-old daughter can play sunshine of your love on drums (she's been taking lessons for a few months), so I figure that makes me father of the century, right?
Good songs, motherchuck
